What I Do

If you’ve got the big idea, I’ve got the tools and experience to help make it a reality.
  • · Branding·
Competitors Research / Logo Design / Brand Identity / Stationery
  • Your brand is more than just a logo, name or colour scheme. It’s who you are! By focusing into your mission, values and what you do, I can help build a brand identity from the ground up (or perhaps refresh your existing logo), providing everything you need to get your business started.
  • · Digital·
Web Design / WordPress / Keynote / GSlides / PowerPoint / Social Media
  • Digital branding is how you design and build your brand online through websites, apps, social media, presentation slides and more. A brand without a digital presence is like a car without tires. It’s not going to get anywhere fast! Kick off your brand strategy with the right assets that will make you stand out.
  • · Print·
Brochures / Menus / Posters / Flyers / Book Covers / Packaging Design
  • Sometimes there’s something special about holding a printed brochure or a smart postcard that can’t be replicated by email or web content. That’s not the vain hope of a print enthusiast like me. Brand awareness and familiarity are better achieved with multiple and diverse media.

My Process

“Design is thinking made visual” – Saul Bass 1920-1996
01

Research

My first approach to every brief starts with a full understanding of the context of the user for whom I’m designing. During this phase I immerse myself in learning and developing insights, with the aim to develop a deep knowledge of the brand and the consumer world it sits in.
02

Concept

Then it’s time to generate a wealth of ideas based on these insights, exploring a wide variety of literal and lateral creative solutions. This allows me to step beyond the obvious, and explore a full range of design options, to finally choose the best ones I believe fit the brand and its purpose.
03

The reason why I wake up in the morning is my passion for design. In between cups of tea, I’ll be artworking whilst using comments and feedback from my clients to refine the designs. At this stage the key requests and designs really take shape to get to the final product.
04

I find that my designs positively develop through an open dialogue with the people involved in the project and their own customers, meaning every time I get to the end of a project I learn something new. My job doesn’t end with the delivery of final artworks. I never say goodbye! So let’s keep in touch and see if I can help any further…
